Biography:
K. Scott Barchus joined AKT in 1994. He founded AKT Wealth Advisors and AKT Retirement Plan Services in 1998. Part of his primary responsibilities includes firm management in his role as President of both companies. Scott has a broad array of expertise in both the qualified plan marketplace and in working with high net worth individuals. He specializes in the design and administration of qualified plans, as well as fiduciary responsibility, investment management and financial planning.

Scott received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business with a minor in Accounting from Western Oregon State College. He also holds a Certified Public Accountant license and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. He has also completed the Series 7 and Series 65 security exams.
